The AWKB ("A Weird Keyboard"), designed by wj-zhe, is not simply another 36-key split. In fact, driven by Seeed Studio's Xiao RP2040 with a limited number of pins, this keyboard uses Japanese Matrix to spare some of the I/Os for the trackball (pmw3360 based sensor) and rotary encoder.

Specs

  • 35-36 keys (5x3+3)
  • MX
  • Xiao RP2040 controller
  • trackball
  • encoder
