Auryn Engel built a Lofree-style split, using version 3 of his Avocado keyboard, the Corne clone designed via Ergogen already featured earlier:

This is an ergogen based corne clone that I intend to modify and tweak as I descend into the rabbit hole – Auryn.

In V3, the thumb cluster is different, just like the controller part, edge cut, etc.

This time, the caps and switches came from Lofree who offer you a 10% discount by the way (no affiliation), so feel free to use the KBDNEWS coupon code if you like the parts used in this build.

Specs

  • 36 keys (5x3+3)
  • Choc, hotswap
  • reversible PCB
  • Pro Micro footprint (wireless via nice!nano)

There's a build video too, well, with lots of Lofree promotion:
