Jason Hazel aka quirk published some models of his Bad Wings series. The Bad Wings: Slim features Kailh's X switches, just like his earlier ortho split Shortstack, columnar split Dust, and 40% ortho Crepe.

I said I wouldn't design any more XSwitch boards, but I still had some in a bag and had this idea. Bad Wings: Slim is an ultrathin version of my daily driver – quirk.

Specs

  • 36 keys, Kailh X switches
  • 7mm tall (9mm with rubber feet), weighs 85g/3oz fully built.
  • Bluetooth via XIAO BLE
  • CR2032 replaceable battery
  • Open source
