A keyboard case made out of cork. First, 6 mm cork tiles were glued together and cut and sanded down by hand. It was very tedious, so carvallegro went simple and cut the depth by 6 mm increments (thickness of the tiles).

Cork is pretty flimsy but the author used some spray on wax that adds some rigidity.

A sheet of metal is epoxied on the bottom for added weight and rigidity.
