That's what people use in air-traffic control centers.

Don’t know much about it other than it’s a cortroninc, and the poor things put up with years and years of harsh use but never seems to die… – mkayultuh.

I had to look up Contron, but they have an impressive gallery of rugged keyboards for tough environments.

The one on the picture may be their Model CUSTOM-KB – 371 or CUSTOM-KB – 7027.
