The fisk 2.0 is an update of Victor's (aka Strange-Lab5541/vvhg1) handwired split keyboard with those distinctive vintage keycaps scavenged from a Triumph Adler Gabriele 9009 electric typewriter (the original fisk was featured here).

I created the fisk last year and have been daily driving it since, but the prints always bothered me a bit. They were the cheapest I could find at the time, which made sense as I had no idea if they would work or not. So now it's time for a little upgrade – Strange-Lab5514.

Specs

  • 54 keys, MX
  • handwired
  • ring finger (5°) and pinky (12°) splay
  • 2° slope (toward user) and 3° tenting
  • support for one rotary encoder and one 128x32 OLED per half
  • RP2040 Zero controller

The author changed the split connection to USB-C (5V safe) and fixed some little issues here and there with the construction. The prints this time are SLS printed ABS. As they were really cheap and have everything Strange-Lab needed, the controllers are RP2040 Zeros this time.
