Crides aka steven4012 published an update to his folding travel keyboard: the fusion.

Basically did a bit of bodging to replace the original battery and charging circuit with a Li-ion supercap and solar charging – Steven.

Some comments question the safety of this approach. Be careful when working with a supercap.

The Fusion was featured in Issue#72 of kbd.news. It's a compact, steno-capable board for on the go. Magnets keep it closed, and Hall effect sensors take care of shutting off the power when closed. Read the original post here.
