John Lamb wanted a clean, 34-key split keyboard with Choc switches, mainly as a travel companion. The result is the LambBT.

With loads of inspiration from your newsletter and the community, I ended up designing a split wireless 34 key (yet another one), heavily inspired by the Sweep and Architeuthis dux – John.

Designed from the ground up using Ergogen and the routing done in KiCad.

Specs

  • 34 keys, Choc, hotswap
  • columns have the same splay as the Architeuthis Dux
  • wireless (Nice!Nano)
  • Socketing the Nice!Nano v2 allows the battery to fit under the MCU
  • On/Off switch with a case cutout and a reset switch that won't be accidentally triggered.
  • ZMK firmware
