Generated via Ergogen, Aitor/4itor shared his Moai, which is a cute little unibody split with 34 keys: 5x3 split layout with two thumb keys per half.

The keyboard is caseless, using a maple woodcut (3.3mm height) between the plate and the PCB. No screws, the soldered switches keep everything in place.

The wood gives enough stability and it's quite sturdy compared to other caseless builds I've done before (even the ones that used screws) – 4itor.

The texture on top of the plate is a result of poking holes in the Cu layer of the PCB.

The moai logo is an ambigram. (Moais (模合) are social support groups in Okinawa, Japan, considered one of the leading factors of the longevity of the Okinawan people.)
