Reeve, who brought us the unibody ‘ākohekohe, shared a new true split keyboard this time. The pueo – named after an owl species endemic to Hawaii – is a 26-key wireless board with reversible PCB.
Inspired by projects like the TOTEM, zilpzalp, berylline, and the aforementioned ʻākohekohe.
Specs
26 keys
low-pro Choc, soldered
default or minimal Choc spacing
nice!nano V2
reversible PCB
tenting puck support
Two versions are available:
The default-spacing solder-only version
The minimal-choc-spacing solder-only version with the tightest spacing that Choc V1 switches allow for (untested)
Note: You will have to procure min-spacing keycaps. I am not aware of any commercial solution. Recommendation: Philadelphia Minimalist by Pseudoku. There are also currently no 1.5u min-space keycaps, these will need to be generated – Reeve.
