Protieusz shared the Gerbers of his Sachiel, a 34-key monoblock split with an integrated 25mm trackball, inspired by weteor's Grumpy.

The name Sachiel is derived from one of the angels of an anime – Protieusz.

Even though the keyboard was inspired by weteor's work, the KLE layout was done from scratch.

The "missing keys" of the Grumpy (Q, P, B and N) were added to make it a standard 30-key alpha layout. The Win and Enter keys were added to columns 3 and 10, and the thumb keys were shrunk to 1U.

Specs

  • 34 keys
  • MX, soldered
  • RP2040 Core-A devboard
  • 25mm trackball (PMW3360 sensor)
