Fellow Redditor jp_pens made the hooks of the well-known IKEA Skådis pegboard, often used to store keyboards and accessories, more keyboard-friendly by using aquarium tubing.

Project details:

IKEA Skådis hooks are powder coated steel. I didn’t want to risk them scuffing my boards, so I came up with this simple hack. I used 5/32” (4mm) inside diameter aquarium tubing to cover the part of the hooks that the keyboard rests against. To make it easier to slip the tubing on, I dunked the pieces in hot water until they were pliable. A hair dryer would probably also do the trick – jk_pens.

Other tips: 3D printed hooks and heatshrink.
