Xiao Qin aka xqinx aka Lost_Negotiation_830 entered SeeedStudio's mechanical keyboard design contest with the Xobdox.

It's a 40%(~ish) split wireless keyboard with a single PCB design for both halves (reversible PCB), featuring Seeed XIAO BLE controllers, side buttons, encoders and configurable battery options.

Features

  • 44/46/48 keys
  • Reversible PCB
  • Wireless (BLE) or Wired (USB)
  • Hot swappable low profile switches
  • Encoders
  • Power switch
  • 2 optional side push button
  • 2 optional encoder switch
  • Flexible configurations (2 encoder locations, top mount lipo battery or bottom mount 18350, 1u or 1.25u key caps on some keys)

While the project is not open source (yet?), there's a great project blog on hackster.io.

At the moment, there's only a PDF schematics in the hardware repo.

I am making some upgrades to the board so it can accept both MX and Choc switches, and after that I will upload the gerbers – xquinx.
