Comments on Wingtree Golden Apple V2 switches

The BSUN Golden Apple switch is the first switch that uses the PEI material. PEI is a high-performance plastic known for its high-temperature resistance, mechanical strength, and electrical insulation properties. When used on a keyboard switch, it not only shows a beautiful golden color, but also provides a firm bottom-out feel and a thocky sound profile – Unikeys.

The Golden Apple V2 switch is the successor to the BSUN Golden Apple tactile switch. This time, they are manufactured by Wingtree - the tactile switch expert. Similar to V1, the V2 also comes with a PEI bottom housing. It gives the switch a vibrant golden color, hence the name golden apple. This is also the first time that Wingtree uses the LY stem on a switch. Overall, the Golden Apple V2 switches are medium toned thocky sounding, and the medium to large tactile bump is super satisfying to type with – Unikeys.
