The Gateron Sage linear switch is Unikeys and Mori's first Gateron custom switch project. It all started with a frankenswitch where Mori put a Sea Salt Smoothie stem into KS-3 Milky Yellow Pro housing; The frankenswitch sounded and felt awesome which gave us the idea to create the Sage switch. In short, we used the Sea Salt Smoothie POM stem and KS-3 Milky Yellow Pro housing mold; This mold and material combination creates: a thocky and satisfying sound signature; a smooth travel, similar to all Gateron switches, but with less stem wobble; a solid bottom out feel since this is a long pole switch.
