XLLAB designed the HMX Yogurt switch, which HMX manufactures using its newest stem and bottom housing mold. The P5 bottom housing Yogurt switches use a modified nylon with 40-45% fiberglass added. It is a new nylon blend from HMX and by far the material with the most fiberglass added. What it does to the switches is make them sound super loud, clacky, and full-sounding. With the help of the new stem and bottom housing mold, Yogurt switches come with smooth keystrokes and minimum stem wobble – Unikeys. | The Hyacinth V1 switch was already a great success, but Sillyworks always strive to reach a higher limit. After almost two years since they released the Hyacinth V1, the V2 version is finally here. Compared to Hyacinth V1, the V2 version had a lot of upgrades and changes; Firstly, the manufacture of the V2 was changed from KTT to HMX. HMX is able to mold more precisely to create more consistent stem length and housing tolerance. If you have used other HMX switches such as the Macaron or Macchiato, you will understand what their molds are like: The stem and housing tolerance is super high as the stem sits super stable in the housing. There is super minimal stem wobble as the housing really closes up on the stem. However, you will never feel that the housing is squishing the stem too tight to create bottom-out issues. That is how precise HMX's molds are. The V2 switches are smooth, tight, and great-sounding – Unikeys. |
