The Keygeek Cera linear switch is Keygeek's another full POM switch. Unlike POMkin, Cera has a flat pole tip for a more clacky and crispy sound profile. Designer Gearpod also commissioned a new housing mold for them. Because full POM switches tend to have more surface friction, the sizes of the top housing opening and bottom housing stem hole have been adjusted to make sure the stem wobble is minimal while eliminating the sluggish feeling caused by the syringe effect. Material-wise, the POM stem was modified with ceramic powder added to increase its hardness and lower POM's surface friction coefficient as much as possible. The Cera switch also comes with a different factory lubrication method from previous Keygeek switches: The stem is lubed with dry film. The top housing is dry to get rid of the oily feeling – Unikeys. | The Unikeys Waves switches are one of BSUN's few rail bottom-out full travel switches. Both the stem and the housings are manufactured using BSUN's most recent moldings; The Stem wobble is minimal while smoothness is guaranteed. Each keystroke is precise and pleasant. The stem comes with the same material as the Jade Rosales switches, and the housing is fully made of POM. Such material choices make the overall sound profile medium-pitched with a medium volume. They are not as loud and clacky as HMX Snow Crash switches but not muted and dull either. Expect them to be a rail bottom-out switch that comes with the classic BSUN sound signature. To prevent the lube pooling issue, only the upper section of the stem sliders are lubed with 205g0. Stem legs and the lower section of stem sliders are dry. The lube on the stem sliders will spread evenly after use and become a thin coat that covers the sliders. Springs are lubed with dry-film. Disclaimer: As the Waves switches only come with lubed stem sliders, and the stem legs and leaf are dry, there might be some slight noise when the switches actuate (Stem legs making contact with the leaf).
