The answer is to make it stand out among already existing clacky switches. Different from LY or POM, a nylon stem plus a nylon bottom housing creates a clacky yet bassy and condensed sound profile. It sounds relatively on the louder side, clacky, and pleasant. A modified nylon top housing is custom-made to increase the overall smoothness of the switch. The new mold also comes to aid in making the overall travel silky and effortless – Unikeys. | The HMX Lunar Stone linear switches are manufactured using HMX's brand-new full POM housing mold. It is the first full POM HMX switch. As the first full POM HMX switch, we expected it to sound and feel a bit different from other HMX switches in the market. They have proven to be quite unique; They sound fuller and thockier than most HMX switches yet still come with the bassy bottom-out sound. The travel feels very smooth yet there is audible scratch since that's what most people love about full POM switches – Unikeys. |
