Comments on Keygeek Y3x switches | Comments on UNIKEYS x HMX Sugar Rush switches |
In theory, the Y3X switch is not an upgrade to the Y3 switch. Y3X and Y3 cover different sound and typing spectra. Compared to the classic Y3 switch, Y3X is slightly louder and poppier. Thanks to the spherical stem tip and spherical bottom housing contact point (Same as Keygeek Butterfly Switch), Y3X has a mellower and softer bottom-out feel than Y3 – Unikeys. | Unikeys Sugar Rush is Unikeys' second in-house designed switch collaboration with HMX. These were manufactured using HMX's newest mold sets. Sugar Rush switches have the PA-2 bottom housing which is the same as the Cheese switches, and with the help of the new mold design, they are loud, full, and straight through-the-roof clacky – Unikeys. |
