Comments on HMX Hibiscus switches | Comments on YG Studio x HMX Canglan V2 switches |
HMX Hibiscus switches come with a T3 stem, PA12 top housing, and PA66 bottom housing. Spec-wise, it is a bit similar to the Canglan V2 and EVA switches which are one of the deepest and most thocky HMX switches. We are not sure what the T3 stem is made of nor its formula, but based on the sound comparison to Canglan V2 and EVA, the T3 stem makes them sound a bit deeper and quieter than both Canglan V2 and EVA switches. In the meantime, they still come with that signature HMX clack and solid bottom out sound – Unikeys. | The Canglan V2 switches could be the first ever thocky HMX switches. Of course, thocky and clacky are just subjective perceptions of individuals, but if you compare them with other HMX linear switches out there, you will notice the difference. All thanks to the material composition of the stem, the Canglan V2 switches get to sound deeper. However, I never said these switches are quiet… – unikeys. |
