Comments on WingTree Camellia switches

In theory, the Y3X switch is not an upgrade to the Y3 switch. Y3X and Y3 cover different sound and typing spectra. Compared to the classic Y3 switch, Y3X is slightly louder and poppier. Thanks to the spherical stem tip and spherical bottom housing contact point (Same as Keygeek Butterfly Switch), Y3X has a mellower and softer bottom-out feel than Y3 – Unikeys.

The WingTree Camellia linear switch is a full-travel, long-pole linear switch designed by Wuhai Studio and manufactured by Wingtree. The Camellia switch features an all-new mold that's developed based on the previous mold Wingtree Yuying Black switches used. After the mold design modifications, Camellia now sounds cleaner, less noisy, and more concentrated at the bottom out; The scratchy feel has also been improved, which is still grainy but much more refined. Each switch comes factory lubed, with a thin layer of Krytox 205g0 applied to the stem legs and sliders, while the spring and leaf are also lubricated to ensure a smooth, consistent feel right out of the box. FYI: If you are looking for maximum scratch, please choose the dry options which only comes with factory-lubed leaf and spring – Unikeys.
