The WingTree Nezuko linear switch is a full-travel, long-pole linear switch designed by Xida Studio and manufactured by Wingtree. Nezuko features Wingtree's latest optimized textured mold, delivering a stronger, more consistent scratchy typing experience than previous generations. The combination of a PA66 fiberglass-reinforced housing and POM stem creates a dense yet refined scratch profile that feels crisp, responsive, and highly textured without being rough or unpleasant. On the acoustic side, Nezuko produces a bright and clean sandy sound signature with prominent scratch throughout the keypress. The bottom-out is crisp, concentrated, and rich in mid-to-high pitch sound. Each switch is available in both factory-lubed and dry configurations. The factory-lubed version offers improved smoothness and consistency, while the dry version only comes with a factory-lubed spring and leaf, preserving the maximum amount of scratch and sandy feedback for enthusiasts seeking the strongest texture possible. FYI: Wingtree's 4.0 full-travel textured mold used in Nezuko will remain exclusive throughout 2026 and will not be made available to new studios – Unikeys. | What's new with V2? The biggest change in V2 has been the reduction in the number of runners in the injection molding process. Previously in V1 there were 24 runners. In V2 there are now only 16 runners. For those unfamiliar with injection molding, a runner is a channel cut into the mold that allows for the plastic to flow from the nozzle into each cavity. Decreasing the number of runners and cavities allows for better control and consistency resulting in better tolerances and smoothness. Additionally, new molds are generally smoother than older molds due to pristine internal surfaces – dangkeebs. Recommended for deep sounding, thocky builds – beaverkeys. Strawberry V2's are a sweet premium linear inspired by bright berries. They're composed of a clear top housing, transperant pink bottom housing, and pink POM stem allowing for improved RGB transmittance. Additionally, the switches are lightly pre-lubed with an improved factory lubing technique to ensure they're ready to go as soon as they arrive! – dangkeebs. |
