The Ice Cendol is the latest switch in our Shaved Ice series inspired by a childhood favourite dessert thanks to all the Malaysians and Singaporean in Perth. It’s been a long way to get here, originally planned to be manufactured by Keygeek, we weren’t happy with the sound profile and the appearance of the transparent nylon top housing… so Mr Keebz enlisted Rassles our Kiwi Staff Member to help design the new Ice Cendol and we got working with the most hyped manu in 2024 HMX to create a unique material combination to create something that some have described as MX Black-ish without the scratch-ish – KeebzNCables. | Onyx switches are the newest collaboration switch between Swagkeys and Gateron. They are full travel linears that utilize the custom designed molds that have silicone inserts in the bottom housing that act as switch films to improve the sound and feel of the switch. It is similar to the previous SW x Gateron Deeping switch with improved factory lubing and a new stem material that produces a different sound signature. Once lubed (either manually or factory lubed) these are smooth linears with a medium weight spring and a nice loud sound profile.
