After releasing two tactiles, we thought it's time to show linears some love. So.. enter the Taro N Sweet Potato, the 2nd switch in our Shaved Ice series. A switch inspired by the Taiwanese dessert of the same name that I first tried in Sydney back in 2010 (RIP Meet Fresh Perth). A bit about the switch, it's a long pole linear with a LY stem and bottom housing for a buttery smooth key press and a deeper and lower pitched sound profile from the POK stem – Keebz N Cables. | Inspired by black sesame desserts, the Black Sesame switches are the third member of our Artisanal Switch series. As part of our continued effort with Aflion to make the best out-of-the box switches, the Black Sesames are hand-lubed from the factory. As the second linear in our line-up, we started with a lengthened spring to provide a snappier feedback, but kept the lighter spring weight that we love and prefer. The dustproof stem provides nearly no stem wobble throughout its travel, producing a balanced, deep, and pronounced sound – Invokeys. |
