The HMX Butter is a linear mechanical switch with top housing, bottom housing, and stem (standard). The -g actuation occurs at 2mm, bottom-out is 63.5g at 3.80mm. Factory lubing? Yes! Manufactured by HMX.

HMX is a relatively new switch manufacturer that is known for extremely smooth switches. The Butter switches were specially created to provide a satisfying, poppy typing experience. The added factory lube gives it smoothness and further sound dampening – Kinetic Labs.
