The Alien Invader by Protieusz is a PCB for Joe Scotto's originally handwired Scotto Invader, with on-board RP2040 MCU.

I have converted and designed a PCB using the Scotto Invader handwired version and transformed it into an Alien Invader – Protieusz.

The Alien Invader is using integrated RP2040 components design with large component footprints of 0805 which can be soldered easily using hand soldering.

Specs

  • 40 keys
  • MX, soldered
  • on-board RP2040

This PCB is closed source as requested by Joe Scotto. Handwired version is still free to build provided you follow Joe's licensing.

Typing feels very comfy and speedy to my surprise. This is a very compact keyboard design and can be for office use. Currently using this as daily – Protieusz.
