Best-selling keyboard switches of June 2026
Here are June’s top mechanical switches, the community’s favorites based on vendor sales data.

June's sales numbers are in, many thanks to the kind vendors and manufacturers contributing their data, so let’s keep the series rolling by highlighting the community’s most loved switches! Discussion over at r/mk if you'd like to share your experiences or opinion.
Summary: 20 contributors from all around the globe, representing almost 1 million switches sold, with 118 switch models mentioned and 22 new switch models appearing first in the top lists.
The article is quite long, feel free to jump to the aggregated top10 list, the shooting stars, newly added switches, list of contributors, my quick market overview, the detailed results by shops, or to the disclaimer, aggregation rules used by the algorithm, and my closing thoughts. Finally, search and filter the updated mechanical switch database for your favorite switch types or specific models.
General market trends
Thanks to this compilation being fairly representative — we have data coming from the US to China, Japan to France, Germany to India, and Australia to the UK –, and based on the sales volumes reported by all the participating shops, I can usually spot some interesting trends.
This was definitely a slow month again. Only 5 shops reporting gains at various levels, and all the others reporting a clear decrease in sales.
Multiple shop runners mentioned the warm weather and holiday season affecting the numbers. If I go by my own experience, that's a completely accurate statement. I'm a bit wary of ordering anything these days as I never know if I'll be home when the parcel arrives.
The linear vs tactile ratio is 8:2 in the top 10 this time, and slightly differently 54:30 in the top 100 (with 6 models representing clickies). Slowly tightening compared to the May numbers. The current top tactile (Gateron's Type R), last month's #1, was heavily beaten even though it remained at place #2, but the top silent tactile TTC Bluish White V2 Silent made it to #7. That said, keep in mind that the smaller variety and greater concentration of tactiles compared to linears may result in their over-representation.
Silent switches now account for 20% of the top 10 (much lower than the 40% peak in December) and similarly 19% of the top 100.
In earlier months, the per-shop lists could reveal the effect of stock clearances: Some old switch models appear in the individual Top 10 lists as customers snap them temporarily at huge discounts.
This time, I asked the contributors to leave these models off their top10 lists, and several of them confirmed that they did so. Still, keep this issue in mind while evaluating the rankings.
For first-hand insights shared by shop runners, check out the detailed lists below.
Contributors
Many thanks to all the shops that are contributing their detailed statistics to this series. Exact sales volumes (rather than mere rankings) make the aggregated list more accurate. Thank you for your trust on behalf of the community – we all know how sensitive this data is.
Clicking the links takes you to the individual top lists:
MonacoKeys (DE), InputGear (DE), Lume Keebs (US), DiviniKey (US), BeaverKeys (CA), The Thocc Exchange (UK), Delta Key Co. (FR), Mechboards (UK), AKKO EU (CN), UniKeys (CN), Clackify (US), Keebz N Cables (AU), TTCswitch (CN), DIYKEY (CN), Coffeekeys (IT), Yusha Kobo (JP), RGBKeys (NL), SerpentKeys (UK), Mechanical Keyboards (US), StacksKB (IN).
Switch testers
Many of you asked for switch testers. While I'm not a merchant myself, Clackify (US) specializes in exactly that – custom switch testers. Give them a shot. Or there's also Monacokeys (DE) and CoffeeKeys (IT) in the EU, Thocc Exchange and SerpentKeys in the UK. Other shops offer more specific switch testers too, e.g. Beaverkeys (CA) or Keebz N Cables (AU).
Novelties & Database updates
I've been fooling around with these unique XVX Whisper switches lately. 2-in-1 silent EC/HE switches with domes? Sounds fun. And it is! :)
I turned the IQUNIX EV63 GitS (with hard bottom-out from the factory) to a funky build for typing/coding. Much softer for casual non-gamer usage now.
Highly recommended modification if you're a non-gamer cyberpunk enthusiast or anime fan gearing up for the premiere of the new Ghost in the Shell series. If you're not a competitive gamer but still want the best-looking keyboard of 2026 with the iconic Motoko Kusanagi aesthetic, and don't need all the Hall-effect features as the tactility of the domes pretty much kills them… :)
TTC PT Blacks have kicked in the door at #8. Don't flock to the stores unless you exactly know what you're looking at (intentional scratchiness), but I had a great time to build the latest Glitter65 L01 kit by MoeeTech (review later).
Otherwise, 22 switch models have recently been added to the database as a result of the incoming June per-shop top lists. As usual, the majority of these are not that new, but some are worth mentioning:
- Akko Creamy Yellow U1 – the first one making it into the top lists from Akko's new U1 series. I like the 100-piece switch jar packs much better than the annoying trays. Hey, what?! €0.18 per switch?! Something tells me this is going to be a huge success.
- HMX Egg Yolk is HMX's first switch with a double-shot bottom housing (for sound).
- Gateron Oil King Heavy Tactile. Following the massive success of the ineradicable original Oil King, Gateron has expanded the lineup with new models in the same PA66/Ink housing combo. The Oil King Heavy Tactile made it to the top10 of Divinikey as the first model of this series.
- BSUN Colored Glaze – a nice silent switch designed for a smooth and quiet typing.
- Wingtree Nezuko, designed by Xida Studio and manufactured by Wingtree. Another scratchy model using a textured mold. I like it for the color, though. ;)
- HMX Sogurt V2.
- HMX Saru V2. The V1 was released in 2022 as a tactile switch with minimal pre- or post-bump travel. But with recent improvements in this space, Divinikey decided to bring back the Saru with HMX. "Light tactile bump and full tactility creates a unique typing feel that almost feels like a linear".
- Omnitype OT Heron HE. HErons (see what Omnitype did there) are the first custom Omnitype switches and their first dip into the HE scene. "We sought out to offer an HE switch that actually sounds good, in a world filled with bad sounding HE switches."
- A bunch of new TTC switches: TTC Silent Brown V3, TTC Pro KOM HE Magneto, TTC Uranus HE, TTC Horse with horse motifs on the top housing.
- More magnetic switches: Kailh Flame HE.
- The clicky Kailh Summer Mini. Yay, we already had all the other models from Kailh's Four Season collection I guess. [ed.: no, I was wrong…] The Summer made it to the top10 for the first time at DIYKEY.
- Honorable mentions: Kailh Silent Latte, Kailh Prestige Voice, BSUN Mozzarella Cheese tactiles.

| 6 | TTC |

June's Top 10 – aggregated
Beside this Top10 feel free to check out the Top 500+ list too. (About the ranking: switch models appearing in multiple shop lists are prioritized over high sales in a single shop.)

DIYKEY (China)
[10% off with the KBDNEWS coupon code]
June has been a pivotal month for us at DIYKEY, marked by the strong momentum of our new Flux magnetic switch series. We’ve observed a clear shift in consumer behavior: the market is no longer just looking for "faster" switches; they are demanding "smarter" ones. Users are increasingly leveraging software-based actuation control to create "hybrid profiles" that allow the same keyboard to serve as a high-performance gaming tool (using rapid trigger) and a comfortable, deep-sounding typing companion. Furthermore, we are seeing a rising demand for "BIFL" (Buy It For Life) components. Whether it's the premium POM/POK stem materials or the obsession with deep, muted "HIFI" acoustic profiles, enthusiasts are moving away from disposable tech toward components that offer longevity and a premium, solid typing experience. We believe this fusion of "smart magnetic performance" and "refined acoustics" will define the remainder of 2026. Stay tuned as we continue to push the boundaries of switch customization – Tami.

Disclaimer
Keep in mind that most of the time I'm not in a position to verify the validity and accuracy of the data provided by shop runners. Some of these lists come automatically from their databases, with screenshots, however, some were put together manually. I asked for the numbers of the previous month, but some shops may query the past 30 days, etc.
That said, take everything with a grain of salt, but I hope this compilation will still hold some value, highlighting trends, giving you some tips, and as a snapshot of the zeitgeist it will be also interesting to look back at on the long run.
About the algorithm
While contributors provide exact numbers, standardization, normalization, and other techniques remain essential to come up with a ranked list due to some remaining inconsistencies, unfortunately.
The current system:
- incorporates sales volume as a percentage – to mitigate the dominance of one or two huge vendors
- rewards switches present in multiple lists – to compensate the effect of some switches being offered in a single shop only, thus reflecting availability
- incorporates the previous month to break ties.
As with all such statistical methods, if we were to tamper with the algorithm, it would produce completely different results.
Another source of confusion and inconsistency is the arrival of belated lists. When such datasets come in, I may update the database but often not the already published article. While I add the specific list to the database, I don’t update the overall rankings in the write-up.
Final thoughts & Developments
Hey, I hope this write-up was useful to some of you because it took me a lot of time to complete it again, despite the heavy automation wherever possible. I'm closer to 12 hours this time, despite adding many new switches to the database – meaning more time spent with looking for missing data, proper photos, offers, etc.
Feel free to use and reference this post and the switch database. Spread the word so it makes sense for me to invest all this time and effort.
- Check out the switch database – with 500 switch models – with specs, photos, vendors, prices, typing tests.
- Some features: Search by keyword, filter by tags. You can order the list by price and release date now, as well as filter switches by color. Use permalinks to custom lists like silent tactiles or light, lubed linears with dust-proof stem and light diffuser. ;)
- Try the Switch Quiz to narrow down the full range of switches according to your preferences.
- Finally, the archive of all the monthly switch compilations is available too, e.g. the previous, May top list as a reference.
Thanks for reading this far, see you next month!
