The Phasmic keyboard

Tan Guan Hong aka phantomv1988 shared a magnetic modular system. So the Phasmic, rather a framework than a single keyboard model, features magnetic modules with adjustable columns and thumb clusters.

The column housings are attached to 430 grade steel plates via strong N52 grade neodymium magnets, ensuring that the columns do not slide out of place easily.

The picture below shows the ortholinear layout, the cover image on top shows a column-staggered layout with some splay.

Given the shape of the 3D-printed column blocks, some keys are naturally tilted – at a 15 degrees angle for easier touch typing.
