A sandwich build with 1.6mm thick 6061 aluminum for the top and 1.8mm for the bottom.

A cost breakdown of this build:

Plates were about $30 for both. Switches were about $90, caps $60, Cerakote $40, Microcontroller $20 (Teensy++ 2.0), USB-C adapter $3, solder was $3, diodes were $3.
