Birdy44 is a handwired split with low-pro switches and Cirque trackpads. Designed by RaphCoder13 aka Standard-Cat-806.

Having completed my Dactyl, I sought to design a portable, low-profile keyboard – Standard-Cat-806.

Inspired by the Claw44, the author added some splay to accommodate the pinkies. MX spacing was used for seamless switching between the Dactyl and this new keyboard.

Specs

  • 44x Kailh Choc V1 switches
  • 3D printed plate and case
  • RP2040-Zero Waveshare controller
  • 40 mm Cirque trackpads (scavenged from Steam Controller)
  • MBK and 3D printed keycaps
  • Magnetic tenting legs
  • Transport case

Although the Birdy44 is handwired, the STL files are available in the repo, along with build details and instructions.
