Andi aka exul shared the design files and story of his noname true split – a wireless, low-profile model using Xiao controllers, featuring nmunnich's Ripple thumb keycaps.

I built my own split keyboard in Ergogen and learned a couple of things along the way (…) I decided to document my journey from my very first ergonomic keyboard (a Kinesis Advantage2 in 2015) to building three different versions of my own board in 2024 and 2025 – Exul.

Features

  • 40 keys (6x3+2)
  • Choc V2 switches (hotswap), MX spacing
  • XIAO nRF52840 controller
  • reversible PCB
  • Ripple thumb keycaps
  • designed via Ergogen
  • ZMK firmware
