Glyphica: Typing Survival
Glyphica: Typing Survival is a roguelite survival game that lets you mow down hordes of enemies in a minimalist arena using your finger dexterity and your choice of weapons.

Developed by MX/aliasBlack, Glyphica: Typing Survival is a minimalist but highly addictive typing game. I played its demo back in April, and wrote this:
Warning! Highly addictive! Glyphica is a typing survival game by fellow community member Sharde aka xm-zhou/aliasBlack. Type to shoot, level up, survive & hoard coins to buy upgrades. Lots of upgrades. Typing does pretty everything, there is no secondary control mechanic (movement, mouse-aim, etc). The difficulty level of the free demo released last Friday is pretty easy, touch typers will grind on for an hour and get to about level 50-60 where the game crashes when running out of power-ups. :D To be fixed later I guess, but playing Glyphica is lots of fun anyway.
This time, when I was contacted by Ryan from Squeaky Wheel, who is co-publishing Glyphica, I didn't want to make the same mistake again: spending days playing and enjoying typing while my productivity drops to zero. :)
But if you like this genre, you won't be disappointed by Glyphica. It was already great half a year ago, and now there are even more enemy types and refined upgrade paths. The game has and nice vibe and natural flow. And after fixes and improvements, the team released the game (early access) on October 9.
Availability & Giveaway
Glyphica is available on Steam for an introductory price of about 8eur (offer ends on Oct 23), however, Ryan offered you two free Steam codes.
How to grab one of them? Simply comment something below my tweet. Idk, something keyboard or typing related. You don't have to follow @KbdNews at all.
Or if you really hate X/Twitter, you can drop me an email too, with the subject 'Glyphica giveaway'.
Deadline is Oct 14, 20:00 GMT. I will send the access codes to the winners.
