TheEternalComrade aka Weird_Spell released the Prince54, a low-pro split using Gateron KS-33 switches, halves connected by an RJ11 phone cable.

I'm a student, which means typing, some more typing, and OH did I mention typing? But typing on a row-staggered keyboard kinda takes a toll on my wrists. […] Meet the Prince54, my completely custom designed and split keyboard! The split is facilitated by a RJ11/phone cable, and is thus hot-pluggable – Weird_Spell.

(While the RJ10/RJ11/RJ12 connectors are relatively bulky, other projects like the Floppy keyboard, Sotka, and Fisk use them too.)

Features

  • 54 keys (6x4+3)
  • Gateron KS-33 switches, hotswap
  • RP2040-Zero controller
  • RJ11 cable to connect the halves
  • 3D-printed case
  • QMK firmware
