The C-13X is a cute 35% QAZ/Alice-like keyboard, designed and handwired by flurpyflurples.

I had this idea one afternoon and I just had to turn it into a reality – flurpyflurples.

The case is open-source and there's a plate DXF in the GitHub repo, along with some beauty shots:

Specifications

  • keyboard: C-13X
  • QAZ-ish/Alice style layout
  • handwired with an Elite-C
  • plate: 5mm PLA
  • gasket mount
  • clear window on the back to display wiring
  • switches: Tecsee Ice Candy
  • keycaps: clone civilizations
  • stabilizers: Durock plate mount
  • VIA support (if you choose to wire the matrix the same as the author did)

Finally, the laconic assessment of the designer:

I hate this layout but I love the board – flurples.
