The Chocofly is a 60-key low-profile unibody split keyboard designed by Vitaly Volkov aka vlkv/vitvlkv, featured earlier here (V1) and here (V2).

Here is version 3.0 of the Chocofly keyboard. […] Not a lot of changes, but they make a huge difference to me – vitvlkv.

According to Vitaly, who is also the creator of the true split Avalanche, the main idea of the Chocofly is to be thin and suitable for "sonshi"-style usage, which means placing it on top of the laptop keyboard.

Updates

The main features of this update include:

  • New dimensions that perfectly match the MacBook Air 13" size.
  • Updated switch spacing, specifically designed for CFX (Chosfox low-profile Choc V1) keycaps. The goal was to fit the new dimensions while maintaining a uniform 1 mm spacing around each keycap.
  • Improved placement of the power on/off switch.
