Instead of spending time to put foam or something else into the keyboard case to fill in the empty space, {khmel} made the full case out of foam.

Why do I put foam inside the keyboard case if the whole keyboard case can be foam, – khmel.

While the foam case worked fine by absorbing sound and vibrations, it didn't looked "very okay" so khmel looked for wood. Soft wood, like cork.

The case, as well as the switch plate are made of cork. The top plate is attached to the bottom by magnets and metal parts glued into/onto the cork parts.
