Slight typing angle, no screws holding the top case to the bottom: Inset strong magnets so it snaps together and comes apart easily.

First time building a case in the workshop. Used a single piece of walnut with figure to make the top plate and wrist rest so the grain match up – JPSwagDaddy.

A hand router was used to inset magnets and to make space for the gaskets on the top and bottom of the plate.

Looks deceptively simple but routing out the cavity for the pcb and gaskets was tricky and careful work. Glad it turned out as well as it did – JPSwagDaddy.
