Our good old friend Penk Chen aka penkia shared this no-frills monoblock split: the LoremIpsum36.

Couldn’t find a 36-key PCB in Gateron LP footprint, so I made one. […] The empty area in the middle feels like it’s calling for a trackball (and we do have spare pins for SPI), but for this initial build, I’m sticking to a minimalist approach – Penk.

Features

  • 36 keys (3x5+3)
  • Gateron LP switches, hotswap
  • RP2040-Zero controller
  • 3D-printed case
  • QMK/VIA

The PCB has a cutout for the RP2040 to be soldered flush to the front side, so despite using a 3mm tray for rigidity, the build is thinner than a Nuphy Air60 v2.
