This versatile keyboard called Temporal, designed and shared by Curtis (aka curbol), is a low-profile wireless split with Choc v1 switches, and 36 to 42 keys depending on how you build it. The outer pinky columns snap off the PCB, so you decide the key count when you build it.
I worked a lot on this and have been using it daily for a few months, so now I'm happy to share. […] I originally planned to use the full 42, but ended up snapping them down to the 36-key build with one encoder.
The part the author sank the most time into is the build pipeline. The whole thing builds from one command. You can edit the Ergogen config, run make gen, and out comes the full manufacturing package. Ergogen does the layout, plates and cases, then a chain of scripts post-process the KiCad PCBs.
The only thing to be routed by hand is the signal traces on the main board. Changing the layout and getting a new package back is very low-cost now, which made iterating on the ergonomics a lot less painful.
