The [glyph], an ergo split designed from scratch, was released by hex4/hexatron4. It features a joystick and 6 RGB LEDs on each side, all powered by two Raspberry Pi Picos running QMK firmware.

I had designed a macropad before, but this was my first "real" keyboard project - I learned a lot! The entire process, from sketches to flashing firmware, is documented on the github repo – hex4.

The main gimmick is a joystick next to each thumb switch that acts as a way to switch layers, run macros, and navigate documents.
