Daniel Gotteswinter aka WhiteHelix/exen904 created and shared this cute macropad: the ISO13715 – supporting stepped CapsLock, ISO Enter, and two bottom row options.

So, I wanted to try PCB design for myself but make something more unusual. […] I chose the name after multiple bad naming attempts, now it incorporates all features of the board. ISO (obviously), 13 and 15 for key count of both layouts and 7 for the “alpha” keys. As it’s an existing ISO norm, I created the symbol of the norm that’s used in technical drawings I re-created an SVG of it and used it for a bit of silkscreen art and also for labeling the components – WhiteHelix.

Features

  • 13-15 keys (1u/1u/2u/1u/1u or 1.25u/2u/1.25u options)
  • MX, hotswap
  • XIAO RP2040 or Waveshare RP2040 Zero/0xCB Gemini controller
  • KMK/QMK/Vial
  • pen rail

Pic:

The bar at the top of the case serves as a pen rail, at least for slimmer pens. The LED was a choice so the sides are flush with no stagger.
