Creators! Feel free to tip me off about your keyboard related projects to bring them to 140K readers.

The Karma, a wireless split by Achyudh Ram (aka bottlestreet3d), was inspired by popular projects like Geist's TOTEM.

I'm excited to finally share Karma, a 36-key wireless split ergonomic mechanical keyboard, inspired by two very popular keyboards – Corne and TOTEM – bottlestreet3d.

Some of the goals going into this project were the ergonomic 36-key layout (3x5 column-staggered layout with 3 thumb keys per side) and the wireless-first approach: prioritizing a Bluetooth split setup. Battery life measured in weeks, not days, rules out a screen or LED backlights.

Specs

  • 36 keys (3x5+3)
  • low-pro Choc, hotswap
  • Seeed XIAO BLE controllers
  • wireless support
  • 3D-printed case
