WunWae's Prism is a uniquely shaped input device. Meant to be a gaming controller but has more keys than many keyboards here so I thought it would fit the blog. :D

The raw geometry files as well as the case STL are published on discord.

The first prototype, built from 1.5mm MDF panels glued together, was published last November. Since then WunWae aka WunVzn introduced similar models in bent metal and 3D printed cases. The one in the picture is made out of titanium.

The colors are actually electrically anodized. So it’s scratch and fingerprint resistant.

According to the designer, the controller uses a Frame1/BOXX style layout. I had to look this up but it seems these are well-known layouts in the fightstick world.

As you can see, the asymmetric layout results in an asymmetric controller shape, thus the case includes two differently sized PCBs.
