Steven Karrmann aka skarrmann released his Sha, a 50-key ortholinear keyboard with surface-mount Waveshare RP2040 or Matrix controller boards.

Specs

  • 50 keys (6x4 per half + 2), ortho
  • MX, soldered
  • Waveshare RP2040/Matrix

As you may be familiar with this trick since the author's Horizon, the bottom plate is a cutout of all the exposed components of the PCB.

Each build uses two copies of the main PCB. This PCB acts as both the logical PCB, and when flipped the long way, it acts as a bottom plate to be attached to the logical PCB – skarrmann.
