Designed and shared by eqlair/vuoz, the Chalk is an ultra-low profile wireless split keyboard built around Kailh's PG1316s switches and XIAO controllers – following the author's somewhat similar but unibody Wingman project.

I am back with my second PG1316s board. A few weeks ago I announced my unibody PG1316s board, which was my first project around PG1316s switches. Now I am back to announce my second take on a PG1316s board. Here is a short overview of its features – eqlair.

Features

  • 42 keys (6x3+3)
  • ultra-low profile Kailh PG1316s switches (soldered)
  • Seeed XIAO nrf52840 controllers
  • 250mAh battery per half (battery life of up to 1.5monts on the master side)
  • Totem-like pinky & ring splay
  • 6.5mm overall thickness
  • ZMK firmware with ZMK Studio support
