YarmanKB's Herman Berdnikov (aka SpeedRa1n/jayadamsmorgan) shared the YKB Skadi – an open-source Hall-effect ergo split keyboard. It's wireless, and features a nice keywell via the Dactyl-inspired case.

This is not a gaming keyboard, but a typing tool and a platform for experimenting with what Hall Effect keyboards and a keyboard firmware can actually do – SpeedRa1n.

Custom translucent keycaps from fkcaps.com, custom firmware. The bendable PCBs for the columns, featuring addressable RGB LEDs and Hall-effect sensors, are connected to a central unit.

Specs

  • 60 keys (6x4+6 columnar split)
  • magnetic switches, inherently hotswappable
  • custom XDA keycaps from fkcaps.com
  • Holyiot-21069 controller (nRF5340 module)
  • TMAG5253 sensors
  • per-key RGB LEDs
  • 3D-printed case
  • ykb-firmware (custom)

Like ZMK, the firware also uses Zephyr, so it should support any Nordic based magnetic keyboards by adding board files.
