Sergei (aka 1000eyed/barbara_fries_hens) published the files of his PUR keyboard, a 38-key low-profile ortholinear one with offset spacebar, bent metal sheet case and much more.

Teased here and here, the layout of this board was inspired by the SPC EVDR and other designs of weteor.

This keyboard reinterprets the beautiful design of an offset space row offered by weteor. I wanted to build something similar in appearance, but in lower height – 1000eyed.

The case is 1.5mm stainless steel, switches are KS33, keycaps XVX from AliExpress.

There was a concern that the position of the wireless controller (nice!nano) is suboptimal and might lead to connectivity problems. The author hasn't noticed any issues so far.

  • designed around Gateron KS27/KS33 low profile switches
